The monthly meeting of the trustees of tho Wellington Convalescent Home was held nt Mrs. Joseph Joseph's oil Wednesday last. There were present Mesdumes W. S. Moorhouse (iii the chair), Joseph, W. Young, Litchfield, Miss Coates, Miss Harcourt (lion, treasurer', and Miss Miles (lion, secretary). Saturday was "Tauhereiiikau Day" in connection with the Pelitherston-Martin-borough Copper Trail campaign, and a record day's business resulted, says our Featherston correspondent. It is expected that a close iinisli will be recorded between the two centres involved.
