Alliance, farmer, Feather-; ston, before His Honour Mr. Justice' Hosking was concluded in the Supremo ; Court yesterday. , This was an appeal on point of law I and matter of fact from the decision of the Magistrate's Court at Featherston : in an action wherein the appellant company claimed ,£SO damages arising out of o collision between appellant's motor van : and respondent's motor-car 011 December 17, 1917. Tho respondent countor-claimed tor -6150 damages, alleging negligent driving and unskilful management of the motor van by appellant's servant. The' Magistrate decided in favour of the respondent on the claim and counterclaim, and the appeal was against this decision on the ground that there was no evidence to support the judgment and that appellant was entitled to judgment on the claim and counter-claim upon the evidence adduced. Mr. T. Nc'avo appeared for the appellant and Mr. A. W. Blair for tho respondent. His Honour, after hearing argument, reserved his decision. .1
