Fat ewes, 30s. 6d.; small lambs, lie.; small yearlings, 275., 39b.; good yearling heifers. £3 Bs.; good store cowb, £6, £7 Bb., £7 12s. tel., £B 2s, 6d.: 2-year Jersey bulla, £4 135., .€6.
The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency On. report:—At Mr. Georgo White's sale, at Jlimitangi. on Tuesday, in spito of tho rough weather, there was a good attendance of buyerß. The cows, which were low in condition, sold particularly well, and a keen sole resulted. Rest, cows m.ado from £12 to £18; low-condition and backward cows, £8 to £10; empty rows, £2 10n. to £6; 18-monthß heifers, £4 10s.; weanor heifors. £2 12a.: 4-year-old draught gelding, £14; mare, with foal at foot. £6. At Mr. G. H. Stlles'B sale, at Awapunl, on Wednesday, there was a good attcndanco of buyers, and, although bidding was somewhat inclined to drag, good prices wcro realised, rodigree Jerseys averaged 33 guineas; top prices for cows, 65 guineas; and 2-ycar hciferß, 51 guineaß; a 2-year bull made 15 guineaß; grade oows sold up to £20; the herd averaging £14. Tho property was offered by auction, but was passed in at £115 per acre, and,, although this prfro was Bubsenuontly increased, business did not result. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Acrency Co., Ltd., report:—At. our monthly sale, held at Tc Horn on Wednesday, wo submitted a largo yarding of both sheen and cattle to a fair attendance, and cleared practically the whole entry at satisfactory rotes. We sold forward ewes, ?ir.. fd.; aluirn hog'.'Ots, lfis. 6d.; small woolly hoggets, lis. to 12s. 2d.; store cows, £6 15s. 'to £7 10b.; forward cows, £7 16s. to £11 45.; 25-year steers, low condition, £10 145.; cows with calves, £10 155.; vealers, £4 1 4h.; wearier heifers, £3 195.; wcancr steers, £4; 10-monthH steers, £5 10s.; 20-months heifers, £5 2s. to £7 Us.: calves, 145.; spring ealvins heifers. £1 10s. to £5 155.: springing cows, £11 10s. to £12; spring calving cows, good, £14 to £20.
