GREAT ANTI-ALIEN CAMPAIGN
MASS MEETING AT TRAFALGAR SQUARE "INTERN THEM ALL!" London, July 13.. A mass meeting in Trafalgar Square passed a motion that all aliens of enemy blood should ho immediately interned; that all such aliens in every Government and public office should bo removed; and also protesting against tho inadequacy of the Government's proposals. Tho meeting refused to hear Mr. E. Prj'co Jones (Unionist M.P.), who declared that the Government's proposals would go a long way to settle tho matter of national federation. Discharged and demobilised sailors and soldiers marched in procession along tho Thames Embankmont to Hydo Park earrving banners inscribed "Intorn Them All/' "Comb Them Out." Ono.of the speakers demanded increased allowances for disabled men, and larger persions for dependants. Tho "Globe" and "Daily Dispatch" strongly support a proposal to appoint Mr. W. M. Hughes, with plenary powers, to' deal with, the alien question,—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
