By Telegraph.—Frese' Association. Christchurch, July 12. There are only occasional eamples of wheat offering from North Canterbury, nnd it is mostly fowl wheat. Odd samples of oats are also being submitted, and aro selling at -Is. and 4s. Id. at country stations, according to quality. There is an improved demand for oatfiheaf chaff, due to greater local requirements, and also for shipment, A special steamer is loading chaff at southern ports and Lyttelton for Gisborne next week. Potatoes are in good demand and buyers are -giving M to .£6 is. at country stations, the higher price for delivery at the beginning of next month. In other lines the market is very quiet. Onions aro now bringing £W to £V) 103. at country stations.
