THE EASTBOURNE CU'H. The annual meeting of the Eastbourne Bowling CIul) was held on Friday. There was a, large attendance of members. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—President, Mr. IT. W. Short!; (tor the third year in succession); vice-president, Mr. AV. Powell; Management Committee. Messrs. Levi, Marquis, Morris, Heenan, and I!idler; bon. .secretary, Mr. A. .1. S. Thomson; lion, treasurer. Mr. A. Curtayne; deleHalo to centre, Mr. W. Powell; lion, auditor, Mr. J. Stevenson; Match Committee, Messrs. H. Mayer, J. Ileennii, A. ,T. Thomson; solo selector, Mr. C. A. Marquis. A lengthy discussion then took place on the digest"!' and green control proposals, and it was derided to refer them back to the cenlre, and lhal: no actum be taken until the cost, as well as (he location, etc- can be given. A. vote, of thanks, carried with acclamation, was accorded to Mr. A. Monro, the late treasurer, for the excellent work he did whilst in that olliee. Mr. Munro goes into camp in September.
