BREAD PRICES IN WELLINGTON
SCALE FIXED BY THE BOARD OF TEADE. In an official announcement to-day it is stated that the Board o f Trade has authorised the sale of bread in the City of Wellington, tho Boroughs of Miramav, Karori, Onslow, Eastbourne, and. the Town Districts of Johnsonville, at prices not exceeding the following:— For sale, for cash over bread baker's counters. Sd. pea , 21b. loaf net; 10d. per lib. loaf net.
For private delivery, 5Sd. per'Slb. loaf not; lid. per lib. loaf net.. For delivery to ' hotels, restaurants, shipping, etc., 51(1. per 2lb. loaf; lid. per tlb. loaf (less 2] per cent, discount).
