Hadh'eld, A. Shand, C. S. Jfoare, to be corporals. Headquarters Staff (CM. Police); L.-Cpk J. Olsen, F. Wilkin, to be corporals; Pics. J. Addison, F. G. Watty, 11. G. Anderson, to be lance-corpor-als. C Company, -JOth Reinforcements: L.-Cpk S. Seagrove, J . W. Hailwood, to be corporals; Pie. G. T. W. Butler to bo lance-corporal. Cpl. lv. W. Cloke, S.P. (.nd B.T. Class, having qualified as assistant instructor in physical and bayonet training, is entitled to wear the badge denoting same. Pte. M. L. Cornier, of the 40th Specialist Company Signal Section, having passed the prescribed tests, is classified as a (rained signaller, and ie entitled to wear tho efficiency badge. Cpl. B. A. M'Kcown, C Coy., 40th, to bo sergeant. Tho following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Feathers'ton: Cpl. G. G. Gow, E Company CI, to bo temporary sergeant; Pte. R. H. Swcetzer, N.Z.D.C, Tauherenikau, to be temporary sergeant. Tho Camp Commandant at Featherston aeknowledes with thanks the receipt of the following gifts'to the Camp Hospital:—Mrs. J. Martin, Martinborough, :j dozen eggs; Miss Card, Featherston, parcel of magazines; Mrs. IJ. Donald, one chicken. The finding of a District Court-Martial held at Tronthani Camp on Juno 24, having been confirmed by the Commandant, N.Z. Military Forces, is hereby promulgated :-56,687 Pte. C. A. Wateon, A.S.C., found guilty of disobeying in such a manner as to show a wilful defiance of authority, a lawful command given personally by his superior officer, in the execution of his office. Sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour for two years.
