HUGE WAR CONTRACT FRAUDS
OVER A MILLION STOLEN PROM THE FRENCH GOVERNMENT. Washington, June 27. Frank Godsol, a French soldier, who was arrested ati Washington in March, and charged with tho larceny, of 4,000,000 dollars (je800,000) of the French Government's money in connection with motorcar contracts, and who was further charged with false pretences, by which he is alleged to have obtained 1,500,000 dollars belonging to the French Gorernment will be extradited to France.—Aus.-N.Z.
