In connection with- tho Thomas Moore [Anniversary Concert at the Town Hall mi Moudav evening next, the committee lias acceded to the request that the aimle quartette' (Messrs. A. C. Jlelviu, A. J. I-'ogarty, E. B. L. Keade and K .1. 11esily> sins Mooro'9 "Oil in the Stilly Night" in addition to "The Min-t-'trcl boy," Miss Teresa McEnroe's item ■will be "She is far from the Land," and Miss Agnes Segrief's "At the Midhon r of Night." Twenty entries have been rrcceived for the elocutionary section of the competitions at the Concert Chamber of I lie Town Hall to-morrow afterjiuou. Mr. J.,A. Scott, L.L.M., will act ns adjudicator. In addition to tho choral entries a largo number of entries havo ton received fof tho. alto and soprano solo sections, both male*ml. female. Tho competitions on Saturday ore- open to tlie public, the price of admission being fixed at sixpence to all parts.
