9 ■ ,- ALLOWANCES AND FINANCIAL . ASSISTANCE. By Telegraph—Press AGEociatlon. Vimaru, Juno 27. The Second Division Leagno decided to urge .each member of the National Ministry lo support the demand for the establishment of a minimum clear income of two guineas weekly for a soldier's wife. It also passed a motion asking for special investigation of all cases dealt with by the Financial Assißtanco Board, with a view to increasing grantsx to enable a reasonable standard of comfort to be maintained. It was also resolved that there should bo a special inquiry to dc tertnine whether the board is competently staffed, whether one board can deal adequately with thousnnds of cases, and whether there- are sufficient facilities to' - i enablo soldiers to obtain information and make claims.. '
