LIFE IN THE NORTH SEA
LECTURE 3Y LIEUT. M'CULLOCtf, R.N.lt. • Much interest is being evinced in the lecture to be given by Lieu'.enaiit M'Culloeh, R.N.R., in the Sydney Street Soldiers', Club, on Friday night, at !i o'clock. Lieutenant M'Culloch served for some time with the naval'forces in the North Sea and hu will deal with his experiences in the course of the lecture, the proceeds of which arc to be devoted to the Navy League for patriotic purposes. The remarks of the lecturer are io l:e illustrated with, lantern slides, a very line selection of which has been secured. It is expected that the' Mayor, Mr. J. P. Luke, M.P., C.M.G., will preside. The lecture, which has been arranged by the Entertainment Committee ( of the •Navy League, will be preceded by a short musical programme. Mrs. Ginn, who was a favourite pupil of Madame Melba's, and who has not been heard in Wellington' previously, has kindly promised her services, and Miss Fuller will nlso sing. Quartets will be rendered bv Messrs. Norman Watson and Harper and Mr. and Miss Watkins. Altogether, the evening promises to be very lnterestii.w, and the public are advised to be in attendance early in order to avoid disappointment.
