ENGLISH PIERROTS. The entertainment at present being given at tho Town Itall Concert Chamber by the English Pierrots is of a. very high standard, and continues to attract large audiencos. The company possesses many artiste of merit, and whether in concerted, humorous, or serious items all the performers do full justice to their several parts. Right throughout the performance is bright and sparkling, and in ovcry way Is productive of keen delight. A change will bo given on Thursday.

EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. A Goldwyn feature, "Sunshine Alley," is the star feature now being screened at Everybody's Theatre. Mac Marsh, Bobby Harron, and Dion Tithei-adge, three wellknown and popular stars, are featured in tho loading- roles. Some of the scenes are remarkably fine, especially one taken. in a big rainstorm. The whole picture is a thing of delight, produced in the best Goldwyn style. The fourth episode of "The Mystery of the Double Cross, entitled "Kidnapped," is also shown. KING'S THEATRE. In "The Silent Master," the star feature .now being screened at the King's Theatro, some thrilling and realistic views are given of life in the Paris underworld. Tho story is powerfully told, and reaches some dsep pathos before the unexpected clißiax. The Gaumont Graphic anci a very fine Pathe scenic film complete a first-class programme. EMPRESS THEATRE. June Elvidge has tho place of honour in the cast in "The Tenth Case," now screening at tho Empress Theatre, end the play grips from first to last by ieason of the artistic development of tho plot and the dramatic situations which arise. An interesting topical and a very laugbaUlo Keystone comedy aro also shown. SHOR-TT'S THEATRE. A production of outstanding merit, "Daughter of Destiny." is the special attraction at Shortt's Theatre, Willis Street, this week. The feature stars Madame Olga Petrova, and gives excolleut opportunity for the display of her. wonderful omotional powers. A strong, well-balanced cast supports Madamo Petrova, foremost among tho artists being Mr. Thomas Holding, who appears as the Crown Prince. The picture is lavishly mounted, and is proving a big draw. The eighth instalment of an interesting serial, "The Great Secret," is also shown.

J. 0. WILLIAMSON. PANTOMIME. Tho box plans for tho fii'Bt six rigrhta and first Wednesday matinee of tho ' Dick Whittington" pantomime will bo opened at tho Bristol to-morrow njorning, at 9 o'clock. The J. 0. Williamson management liave re-engaged practically the entire company of comedians who v.ere so instrumental last year in making the fucceis of "Tlio House that Jack Built." Consequently, we shall have Mr. Arthur Stigant once again as the Dame (this time Molly, tlie Cook), Mr. William 'Fullbrook as Alderman Fitzwarren, Mr. Harry Boxbury as Jack, the Idle apprentice, Mr. Ernest Langford as Johnnie. Everybody will romember tho uproariously iuiiny "Building the Chicken House" of last year. It is said that "Keeping Bees/' a humorous act of tho sumo nature in "Dick Whittington," is infinitely moro funny. In thiß Messrs. Stigant, Fullbrools, Langford, and Koxbury are seen at their best. What would "Dick Whittington" be without the immortal cat? Mr. Billy Lebrun is tho Oat, and as Mr. Lcbrnn is ono of tho best animal actors in existence, the eat should he a f-ource of continual merriment. Miss Vera Pearco wil play tho debonair hero, Miss Constance will be seen in the important part of Rupert. Alice should have a splendid exponent in Miss Pauline Bind, ley, whose sweet soprano should prove of great value. OUier~ vocalists of distinction are Miss Tearl Ladd (Princess Rosy Dawn), Miss Ethol Walker Fairy Dulcibellc), and Mr. Villtors Arnold :Rodento, the Demon Rat). Mr. Claud DantocK is cast for Captain Earnaclc. Tho aany beautiful ballets will bo licaded by V\st Maggie Dickinson, whose work m the pantomime has been extolled by tho Australian Press. She will be ably assisted by Mr.-Sidney Yates, an English dancor of distinction. At tho top of a loug list of specialties and novo! acts will be found that of the Camille Trio, a famous Euro, pcan knockabout team.
