FATAL COLLISION ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD. By, Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, June 24. Percy Moon, aged 13, collided with another player during a football match at To Aroha, and died from internal injuries.

Asliburton, Juno 24. Tho\body of Edward Henry Shirley, aged 4C, a fanner at Barrhill, who had been missing from home since Wednesday morning, was foun l yesterday moruing in a plantation a quarter of a mile from home. The top of the skull was blown off, and a double-barrelled gun was found clasped in both hands. A string was tied round his boot and attached to tho trigger. It ,is understood deceased had been melancholy of late.
