SCHOOL COMMITTEES

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Wellington School Committee's Association was hold lust night, Mr. A. G. Wallace presiding over a good attendance. For the coming election of candidates for tho Education Board tho association decided to support tho nomination of Messrs. I'. Forsyth and J. J. Clark for the two ordinary vacancies, and Mr. J. P. Slmnd for the extraordinary vacancy. The meeting also carried tho following resolution: —"That this association pledges itself to support tho candidates whose nominations nro endorsed by the School Committees' Association, and will do all in,their power to interest their committees in .the same, and that a letter be sent to each member of every school committee in the Wellington district, urging the claims of the endorsed candidates.'
