APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS The appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps, Royal N.Z. Artillery and Territorial Force have been approved:— Captain F. A. Wnoci,. M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, is confirmed in the appointment of Mounted Itifle Instructor, Featlierstcn Camp. The undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Medical Corps are appointed members of the C 2 Tie-examination Board, under the provisions of Ihe Military Service Act, l'Jlo: Lieutenant-Colonel S. A. Railway Battalion, relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer to Director of ■Railway Transport, and ceases to be seconded Dafeu June 5, 1918. Regiment of Eoyal N.Z. Artillery. Captain F. G. Hume to command the Tegiment temporarily, vice Ma.ior S. G. Sandle proceeding; on active service, and is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst so employed. Dated June 13, 1918. Daly, Chaplain to tha Forces, 4th Class, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F., with effect from July 5. 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, as from February 1. 1915 (vide New Zealand Gazette, No. 30, of February 25. 1915). Rev. Herbert L. Barton Goertz, to bo Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class. Dated May 31, 1918. N.Z.. Army Nursing Service. Fisher is struck olf the strength of the N.Z.E.F., with effect from June 6, 1918, and is absorbed with his original Tank and seniority— viz., captain, as from December 12, 1915 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 38, of April 6, 1916). Lioutenant Alexander K. Anderson, to be captain. Dated February 11, 1917. The undermentioned 2nd lieutenants to he nontenants:—Henrv Vincent Foster (dated September 23, 1917); Mervyu Wells (dated February 15, 1918;. ! Company Sergeant-Major Gavin E. T. Chamberlain is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F., with' effect from June 25, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd lieutenant, as from December i, 1918 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 150, of October 4, 1917). 2nd Lieutenant William T.
