In tho House- of Commons Mr. Boiwr Law, replying to criticisms on.tho Cabinet system, said that the one tiling needful was a central control. Probably no other country had attemtped so'much legislation. Ho sometimes thought that we had attempted overmuch. After his experience of tho old and existing Cabinet systems ho felt convinced that, the best way of getting work done was by a small body with final authority. Its efficiency would depend on the mauner in which it could develop its voik— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
