TEEATRE. "Banthea," a forcible and Tcalintic photodrama, is now being scroened at the King's Theatre. Norma Talmadge, a beautiful and talented young actress, appears in the title role, and enacts tho somewhat thanldesß part, of the heroine with undoubted charm and great histrionic power; Tho play, which opens in Ruspia.. includes a. vivid picture of n gallant rescue by British coastguards from a burning ship, the arrest of the heroine in Paris on a. false charge of murder, and her banishment with her Er.glish hiißba.nd to Siberia. The drama ib particularly well a staged and mounted, and tho cast all % round ib strong. EVERYBODI'fI THEATRE. J. Barney Sherry does some fine acting in the Triangle drama. "Fanatics;" now screening at Everybody's Theatre The drama is a powerful story of the evils wrought by a notorious vampire. Tangled up together in this picture aro a siren, a wife who trusts a faithless husband, an honest man, the forces of labour -which he directs, and a big scheme of revenge that falls through. Oiga Gray play 3 the part of the vampire very effectively, and wears some striking gowns. The third episode of "Tho Mystery of tho Double Oroas." _ entitled "An Hour to Live," is also shown. On Saturday Goldwyn Corporation will present Mae Marsh and Bobby Harron in "Sunshine Ally." EMPRESS THEATRE. In "The Ctoeb Bearer," now showing at the Empress Theatre, Cardinal Mercier, the courageous prclato of Belgium, who bo steadfastly opposed the German aggression in that stricken countrty, is the central figure. Tha part of tho Cardinal is capably handled by the well-known and popular Montague Love, while Jeanne Eagels, takes the part of Lianne, his ward, in a convincing manner. "The Cross Bearer" is a : sensational and appealing picture taken in a gorgeous setting.
