I _—, MEETING OP COMMITTEE. ' The Management Committee of the. Wellington Football Association mot last evening, Mr. A. E. Wells being in tha chair. A letter was received from the New Zealand Football Association stating that at the annual meeting held on June 15 it was decided: —(1) That Bro.vn Shield matches bo resumed; (2) that special endeavours should be made by all local associations to havfe the game introduced in the secondary schools, and the result:? of such efforts reported to the council; (3) that affiliated associations be invited to schedule the names of playersin their respective districts who Jiad joinsd the Military or Naval Forces, and this entire roll be recorded by the N.Z.F.A.; (4) that specii'il efforts be made to bring the game to the notice of the nublio by takiiift steps to have all matters of interest fully reported in the I'j'ess. The delegates who attended lha A.Z.I' .A. al«o sent in a report of the proceedings. Mr J.
