a By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Juno l. r ). In the Supreme Court to-day, Charles Murphy and John Petterson were charged with stealing a motor-car and six gallons of petrol from W. B. Campbell. The evidence showed that tlio accused took tho car from outside the Hastings Picture Theatre and drove (o Waiptikurau, leaving tho car there. Tho jury found the accused guilty of stealing the petrol, and both were admitted to probation. Pirihira Hoann, a Maofi w.-mim, for falsO' pretences, was sentonced lo twelve months' reformative treatment.
