The annual meeting of the Petone ,J3owling Club was held on Thursday evening. Mr. W. E, ,Melhuish, tho retiring president, occupied tho chair.
Feeling foforenco was made to the loss the club had sustained through, the deaths of Messrs W. G. Henry and A. Marsden.
The annual report and balance-sheet were presented and adopted, the credit balance being 13s. Id, The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. A. H. Hancock; vicepresident, Mr. G. D. M'Ewen; hon. secretary, Mr. 0. E. Nnnghten; hon. treasurer, Mr. J. G. Castle; auditors, Messrs. E. S. Jones, and I l '. Wilkiu6ou; Management Committee, Messrs. J. Arcus, F. C. Walton, H. W. Head, W. H.'Melhnish, J. E. Robertson, and W. Hill; trustees' representative on committee, Mr. A. Carter; delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. J. E. Eobertsbn.
