A firo ou Saturday afternoon destroyed the milling plant and stock of timber of the Oncli'uugn Sawmilling Company. The fire spread with tremendous rapidity owing to a strong south-westerly wind which was blowing straight up the harbour. The flumes consumed practically (ho whole of the buildings and plant, including the. pinning, moulding, and joinery departments, as well as Iho stacks of Eiiwn limber. The mill and plant wcro insured in the Suit office.
