The "Daily News" Dublin corresppndent states that all the women in Ireland have been asked to sign a solemn pledge on Sunday next, the festival ot St. Columbcille. to promise not to fiho places of men deprived of work tlnough •efusiug compulsory military service. Women 8 taking the pledge will carry wreaths to the nearest shrine, hoi} well, or national site, and unite in prayer to the deliverance of Ireland.-Aus.-M./i, Cable Assn.
