The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trenthnm:—Details:—Corpl. R. C. S. Foster, £o be sergeant; pte. E. C. Lorck, to be corporal. A Company, SStli Reinforcements: Corpl. D. A. Sme'llie, to be sergeant; Lce.-Corpl. A. W. Triggs, to he corporal; Pte. F. iW. 15. Dunn, to be lce.-corpornl. C Company, 38th Reinforcements: Scrg\ AJ. Kay, to be company sergt.-major. The undermentioned n.c.o.'s have qualified as assistant instructors, physical and bayonet training, and are entitled to wear badge denoting same:—Sergts E. G. S. Mncfarlane. P. E. M'Quarrie, G. S. Kirlvy, E. T. Eastwood, S.P. and B.T. Class. \ The 38th M.R. were to proceed to I'apawai for musketry yesterday. The -Mill N.Z.F.A. will proceed on final leave, commencing on' June 5, 1918. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Lce.-Corpl. W. E. Martin, 39th M.R., to be temporary corporal; Ptes. F. Palmer, F. L. Hickman, F. M. Mackwood, 89th M.l},, to bo temporary lco.-corporals.
