SUMMONED TO THE COLOURS
' 25,500 HITHERTO EXEMPTED AGRICULTURISTS. (Rec. Juno 2, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 81. The Press Bureau reports that Hie Ministry of National Service has authorised the enlistment of 25,500 hitherto exempted men under tlio age of thirtyone,, who were engaged in British agriculture and/certain allied occupations. These men must join at the end of June, alter which there will ho no further re'luitment of exempted agriculturists unless the authorities are compelled hy llio development of the military situa-tion.—Aus.-N.Z.
