APPOINTMENTS OF TEACHERS. His Excellency tho Governor-General has made the' following appointments to the Cook Islands' Public Service:— William Charles Smith to bo liend teacher of (he Avarua School, from May 1, 1918. Herbert .Douglas Bannerman to be head teacher, and May Bnnnerman to bo first assistant teacher, of tho Aorangi School, Earotongn, on and from May 1, 1918. , , . Stanley Matthew Mills to be head teacher, Bertha Mills to be first assistant teacher, Annie Graham (o bo second assistant teacher, and Mary Olnusen to bo third assistant teacher, of the lakitumu School, Rarotongn, on and from February 1, 1918.
