The 'New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Leviu yards on Tuesday we offered a medium entry of both sheep and cattle, Competition was good, and a clearance was effected at the following prices:—Fat wethere. 35e. 6d.; fat ewes, 2U-: small two-tooth wethers, 21s. 7d.; email lambs, 10s. 7d. to Uβ. 7d.: forward condition cows,' £6 15s. to £8 Iβ.; •tore cows, £5 16s, to £6 10s.; eichteenjiionth steern, £7; ten-month etcers, £4 17b. <d.; twelve-month Jersey steers. £2 5?.

were inost satisfactory to the vendor. Quotations:— Cows in milk, calved Febru-ary-March, £9 10s. to £13 155.; heifers in milk, £9; August calvers, £10 15s, to £14 155.; weak and three-quartered cows, £9 to *9 10s.; heifers, spring culvers, £8 25.; heifers, r.w.b., £5; yearling bulls, £7 7s. 6d. to £11 155.; two-year steers, £8 15b.; eighteen-month stcera, £6 ss. to £7; mixedsex yearlings, £4 <ls.; miied-sei weancrs, £2 25.; young calves. 10s.; aitcd mare, £2 10a.; three-year gelding, £15 7s, 6d. Pahintua, report on tlieir weokly sale hold at Mangahao yards on Tuesday, ae follows :--A small entry of stock was yarded, the rough weather experienced during tho last weak being no doubt responsible for a few of the advertised lines not coming forward.
