Tho Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commercb has received tho following cablegram, dated London, May 25, from tho High Commissioner for' New Zealand. ' Meat.—lmported represents SO per cent, of supplies at tho market, including large quantity American pork, maximum price is. 4d. Butter.—Small supply Danish and Irish, availablo; stocks accumulating; releases limited. Cheese..—Only small quantities can bo obtained 'for consumption of civilian popnlatiou. Estimated Canadian cheese, stocks (London, Liverpool, Bristol), 80-13 boxes, against 9148 hoxes at same timo last year.. New Zealand stocks, 31,447. Hemp.—Market and prices aro without change. Wheat_ and Oats.—Markets aro inactive, owing to the absence of Government offers.
