CONFERENCE OPENS TO-DAT

A conference of delegate? representing the branches of tho Second Division Lraguo throughout New Zealand is to meet in the Masonic Hall, Boulcott Street, at 10 a.m. to-day. The order paper, contains Gi remits, sent forward by the branches of [he, league. Tho chief subjects for discussion are to be separation allowances, financial assistance, exemptions repatriation, medical examination, and the treatment of aliens. The members of the conference will wait as a deputation upon the ActingPrime Minister and other members of tho Ministry to-morrow morning. They will present the requests and Srecommendations of the conference, and a6k for a statement of the intentions of the Government with respect to the continued demands of the leaguo for additional con. cessions for Second Division soldiers and their dependants.
