GRAND CONCERT TO-NIGHT

At the Town Hall to-night a concert programme, which promises to bo of exceptional merit, will bu presented in a (rood cause. Tho entertainment is one of tho series arising out of tho Baby Competition designed to raise funds for the Red Cross and Red Jersey patriotic work, the sponsors for tho Brooklyn Baby No. H bom;? the promoters <m this occasion. The. main feature of the evening's performance will l>e the contributions of the Wellington Hnrmonii , - Society, which, under tin? comhietorship of Mr. H. Tomplo White, is at thn present timo possessed of a strong and well-trained chorus. The recent delightful performance by tho society is still fr<?s!i in the minds of music-lovers, aud this part of the programme will no doubt form a special sonrce of attraction to those who were unable to attond on Hmt occasion. Tn addition to the items to be supplied by the Harmonic Society a diversified selection of items ivill bo contributed by I well-known and popular local performers. Altogether tl\e entertainment, which ti nnrtor Vice-Regal patronage, holds out promise of i\ most enjoyable, evening, while I hose who attend will nlfo have the satisfaction of knowing they are helping a cause which well deserves their support.
