Decision was reserved sine die, and meantime'Hosie is exempt from military service / Other Appeals. Norman Anderson, a slaughterman, was appea.cd for, and the board reserved decision sine die.

Decision was reserved in the case of Arthur G. H. Bodley, milk vendor, who appealed on the ground of undue hardship, and tendered eviwnce to tho effect that he could not be replaced.

Richard Houldswortli, tobacconist, Lambton Quay, whose case had been heard previously, said.that he.had been unable to find someone to take over his business. Decision was reserved for appellant to confer with the Efficiency Board.

John Cnllaghan, skilled labourer, who said that he was the sole support of his father and mother and invalid sister, appealed on the ground of undue hardship. It was pointed out to him that he could continue to allot His people money if he -wont to the front. His appeal was dismissed, fcnd leave till Juno 18 was allowed him.

A transfer to Class C of the Second Division was made in the case of Arthur G. Wilkinson, a machinist.

iiavry L. Hosenberg appealed on the ground that he was not a reservist, and as it was shown thnt he was dfi years of age the appeal was allowed. The board then adjourned till 10 a.m. to-day. 'f
