AMERICAN LABOUR DELEGATES
RECEPTION AT BUCKINGHAM I'ALACE. (Rcc. May 17, 8 p.m.) London, May 10. The King' and Queen gave a reception at Buckingham Palace to tho American Labour delegation. Tiie Kiujr, in welcoming llie delegates, sard: "It'has always been my dream, which the war has fulfilled,, that the British and American nations should work together in clow, harmonious relations' towards the ideal of progress ami civilisation common to both peoples." lie hoped that after the war they would continue to stand together. Mr. M'Cormiek, one of the delegates, assured tho King that the delegation was impressed at tho magnitude of Britain's effort.
