THE "KING'S CERTIFICATE"

FOB MEN DISCHARGED FROM WAR CAUSES. London, May 14. The War Office announces tho award of a special certificate of honour, called "The King's Certificate," on discharge, to all ranks, 'except officers,' of the Navy, Army, and Air Force discharged through wounds, disabilities incurred- on active service, or by other action. A second discharge certificate is to be awarded where, tho recipients of tho first have voluntarily re-enlisted and again been discharged. Tho authorities of the respective Dominions will issue tho certificate to ox-members of tho Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand naval forces, and tho Accountant-Genoral of tho Navy will issue them to members of the Malta, Newfoundland, and general naval ro-servo—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.-Eouter.
