Y.M.C.A. NOTES
Most successful meetings were held at the local Y.M.C.A. on Sunday. Mr.SUoy Coad, a returned soldier, gavD a very helpful address at the resident?' and soldiers' family worship on "Calls." The "Mothers' Day" meeting which is observed in Y.M.C.A.'s^throughout tho world on the second Sunday in May, was presided over by Mrs. A. P. Atkinson. About 110 people-were present, and Mrs. T. IJ.1 J . Mills delivered an inspiring message. Mrs. D. R. Kennedy sang "My Mother's Prayer," which.was much appreciated. Mr. C. M. Luke (president of the Y.M.C.A.) gave a ehort address, and, on behalf of'tho association, thanked tho ladies for their presence and help. Over one hundred attended the tea, including many soldiers. Mr. C. S. Falconer (first vice-presidont) conducted tho ■ song-servico and welcome to strangers, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Sixty-five soldiers were entertained at the after-church soifjj-swvice and supper. At tho main Y.M.C.A. in "Willis Street 161 beds were let and 286 meals were served to soldiers over the week-end.
