The clever musical combination, the Enslisli I'ieri-ols, wiio have toured the Dominion on sera-ill occasions, will again make their appearance in tho Town Hall on Thursday. The company is still undui- tilt' direction of Will and Hob Thomas. Tho J'jnglisli Pierrots are not only decidedly musical, mid gifted with bright and breezy humour which is most infectious, but cacn member has the happy faculty of co-oper-ating with his fellow in such a manner that the harmonious ellcct gained ie cutirely spontaneous. There is fuu—clean and wholesome—which may be taken as a reason for the hall-mark of popularity on the organisation. The rencrtoiro of the Pierrots is most extensive, and many of llio features have licen written by the members of the company, of which there are ten performers, comprising singers, raconteurs, and comedians, who have drawu largely from the world's supplies for their almost endless repertoire. A glance of the artists' names, all of whom contribute their quota, should convince intending: patrons of the excellence and versatility of the entertainment. Tho male members are as last season, still includiug the very droll comedian, W. I'. Turner, Charles Lawrence, in Ins musical monologues at the piano; Leslie Austin, light comedian; Koy Cooke, basso; David Lyle, tenor; Louis*Mitchell, baritone. Tho ladies include the popular comedienne, Miss Else Lancley, and Miss ISillie Wilson, in her wonderful child impersonations, and two now members, Miss Eleio Eosslyn, soprano/ and Miss liima Young, at the piano. Fuu and frolic and quaint concerted singing are included in every programme. The box plan is now open at the Bristol. - The Pierrots have arrived in Wellington. ADA, REEVE FAREWELL. Tho box nlans for tho farewell scaeoii of Miss Ada Kceye will open at tho Bristol to-morrow morning, and as there will no doubt be a large audience to welcome this popular artist on Saturday evening next at the Opera Houbo, intending patrons are advised to book their seats so as to enjoy the performance with a maximum of comfort. The following are a few excorpts of the Syduoy and Melbourne criticisms of Misa Ado, Hcevo:—"She arouses our deepest emotions, whether they bo sadnesß or gladness. So artistic a performer has never been registered on tho Sydney stage. Miss llceve completely captivated her audignce, reasserting all tho personal charm and vivacity which, in association with a lyric soprano of genuine swe.itness, have won her fame and fortune in many lands." Jliee lieeve has an extensive repertoire, and on this occasion will be singiflg a number of new songs. She has brought with her a strong supporting company, amongst, which Tallo.ur Andrews, thn operatic tenor, and Rogero stand out as particularly fine artists.

QUEEN'S TIIEATKE. "Some Boy" is t]ie titlo of the leading picture being shown at tlio Quecu'B Theatre, Cuba wcok. In this Jilm Mr. Goorgo Walsh- takes the chief role, and ho is ably mipported by JUes Boris l'awn. Mr. Walsh's reputation for humour is well 1 known, and his representation of the part of "Joyous Johnaou" publicity agent, is clover, mid provides utalcrial for much merriment. Ho is called upon to face, many awkward situations, and the manner in which he comes through the various ordeals displays a great deal of very nsat adroitness. The remainder of the programme ifl of a very li!?li order. EMPBESS THEATItK. "Fires of Youth" is the start attraction now screening at the Empress Theatre. Frederick Warde appears as iron-hearted I'emberton, a steel king, who has spent the grcnter part of his life toiling to I amass millions. Ho3coc Arbuokle and Mabel Normad create much amusement in that side-splitting comedy "Fatty and Mabel Adrift." TONIGHT'S OttOAN HECITAL. The weekly orgau recital will be given in the Town Hall, at 8.15 o'clock this evening by Mr. Bernard F. Page (City Organist). The programme consists of Cesar Frauck's Pastorale (Op. 19), Psychological Poem by Itobikoff, Prelude and Fugue in C Minor, Willan. Also included in the programme are Overture "Prometheus" (Op. 43) by Beethoven, Cuoperin's (16681733) Soour Mouique (Hondo), Gavotta by Martini (1706-1784). and Arcadian-Idyll ('.'Serenade," ".Musette," "Solitude") by Lcuiarc.
