PLOT AGAINST PORTUGUESE GOVERNMENT
(Rec. May 12, !i,5 p.m.) Lisbon, May 10. The police at Oporto have discovered a plot iigninst tin- Government. Numerous arrests have been made and a number of bombs seized. It is believed tho plotters intended to make troublo over the recent elections, when they were frustrated, but. hoped b make a now coup at the proeliimaiton of the President's re-election yeslerday.— Aim N.Z.
