Most peoplo havo teen under the impression, as to Second Division men. that we were providing for wives or widows. A woman who has divorced her husband is in tho eyo of the law a single woman, and may marry again. If she is (as appears) entitled to an allowuncu in resaect of her ex-husband, and she married again, she would nresumably be entitled to allowanco from both; while if either was killed Bho would set allowance as a widow and allowance for tho living soldier as well.
