SERVICE STRIPES

Sir-Could you give a ruling on the number of service stripes a returned soldier is entitled to wear? I understand Unit up to the Second Reinforcements a soldier is entitled to threo olue stripes and one red; tho Thirds to four blue stripes; and tho Fourths to tho Tenths to throe bluo stripes. If I im wrong, I would bo grateful if you could enlighten inc. I havo met in AVellin o 't)ii returned soldiers who were discharged rs long ago as 1916, and who are at present wearing threo blues and one red.
