MEGTING OP THE .BOARD. Mr. George Frost presided over the monthly meeting of the Wellinfrton Technical Education Board held last evening. There wore present: "Messrs. W. Allan, T. Bellinger, C. M. Luke, W. Ii Fuller, S. R. Partridge, T. Ijorsyth, J. V. Luke, M.P., W. J. Thompson, J. E. Fitzporahl, H. 11.-.- Gore,. A, Atkins, and W. H. Bennett. Tho financial statement, submitted disclosed a credit balance of. .£2lO 12s. 2d., as against a debit balance of ,£l3lO 13s. lOd.'at tho corresponding date last year. It being necessary to elect a chairman of the board, Mr. George Frost, heforo vacating Ihe chair, thanked tho board for'tho consideration shown him by the members; Mr. W. Allan, on behalf of the staff, presented Mr. Frost with a letter of congratulation on his recent marriage. Mr. Frost then re-elected chairman on the motion of Mr. Allan, seconded by Mr. C; M. Luke. . The-'-chairman moved the adoption of the 'report of tho Finance Committee, which was'caTricd.. ■ '
The director's annual report waa adopted.
