SATURDAY'S FIXTURES. The committee of the Wellington Rugby Union mot last evening. Mr. D. 1). AVeir was in tho chair. They were therefore withdrawing from tho competition. The, following terms submitted by tho Petono Borough Council relative to tho liso'of tho I'etone Recreation Ground during lud present season were- agreed to by the union: (1) The union to have tho use of two grounds on tho Recreation Ground prop&r, ami one ground over tho stop-bank, making three, grounds in all; (2) the council to mark out tho grounds and put up the goalposts, etc.; (3) the union to arrange for gace-keopin;,' and advertising; (4) tho gate takings to go to the union; (5) tho union to pay the council the sum of £15 for the use of tho ground.
