COLD WEATHER
4 Yesterday was a cold day in Wellington, particularly in the forenoon, when a stiff southerly breezo'was blowing. The wind died down late and veered by the west ii little. The night was very cold. Present indications, according to llio official forecast, uro for a conlinuanco of cold and changeable, conditions, with passing 6howors, in most parts of .tho country.
