At a sitting of the Magistrate s Court yesterday, befoi'o Mr. S. E. M'Cartuy, S.M., two first-offending inebriates were lined 10s., and a third mulcted in a l-eu-alty of 20s. Albort Edward Boyson, against whom thoro were three previous convictions, was sont to gaol for a month. Thomas Itimmer, with five previous convictions, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment. Hard labour was imposed in each case.
