- RESULTS OF SATURDAY'S GAMS. The Association football season opened on Saturday. The following is the result of some of the matches played. THIRD DIVISION. Manst dofeatcd Karori after a fast and interesting game by two goals to one. Y.M.C.A. and Institute met at Anderson Park, the result being a draw—five goals each. FOURTH A DIVISION. ' Institute A defeated Karori by two goals to nil. Thorndon defeated Institute B by eight goals to two. The following were tho scorers for Thorndon-Nickless i, Daly 2, O'Neill, and Cording;' and for Institute Armit and Barlett. St. Thomas's defeated' Wadestown by three goals to two. The following scored for St. Thomas's—Faber, Grenslde, Tindall, and for Wadestown Haywood. M'Leod. Marist defeated Island Bay by Devon goals to one. FOURTH B DIVISION.
