MR. COATES CHOSEN TO PBPEESENT ALL CLASSES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, May 2. Ail informal meeting of the repKsentatives of Labour, Ketonn, sad Liberals took place, at Koetton to-day, following til) the initial work done at Oreymoutn to secure tlie return of a member to represent all classes in the trfey electorate. Delegates from the Greymouth United Committee attended, and tlio names of several possible candidates ffero submitted. Ultimately it %as resolved that the candidate chosen by the Central Committee at Greymouth, Mr. 1.1.. Coates would be recommended to the united parties in Keeitou, and Mr. C'oates, who was present, yielded to the pressure brought upon Lim, and with the prominent support, definitely consented to allow himself to be nominated for the seat in the interests of tlio comIB KS« P-oked Might to hear Mr. Holland's opening address on behalf of Labour. The speech ns mostly on the lines of Ins Wellington election platform. Mr. Holland received a most enthusiastic reception, and a vote of confidence. _________
