DAY OF PRAYER
Tho Wellington Council of Churches has deckled that to-day shall bo observed as a day of prayer for blessing upon the nation in, this time of crisis. Continuous sessions of an hour each will be hold in St. John's Church, Willis Street, from 10 a.m. to !) p.m., under different leaders, nnd ministers, aud tho public aro invited to co-operate. It has been arranged that hymns shall bo sung at frequent intervals, during which people may enter or leave tho church. Details of tho services are advertised.
