COURT-MARTIAL AT TRENTHAM
SOLDIERS SENTENCED. The findings of a District Court-martial held at Trcnthain Camp on April 17 last having been confirmed by the. Commandant of. the Now Zealand Military Forces, havs been promulgated as follows:— Private C. A. D. Thomas and Private T. Bell, Details (toto Twenty-fourth Beinforcements), found guilty of deserting His Majesty's service, awl losing by neglect his equipment, clothing, and regimental necessaries, wero sentenced to detontion for 140 days. The above sentences will be mitigated so that if the accused embark for active, (service outsido of New Zealand then upon arrival at the final port of disembarkation tho uncxpired portion (if any) of the sentence shall bo remitted, and his New Zealand records shall be endorsed accordingly.
