Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Levin yards ou Tuesday, when they were successful iu quitting tho bulk of their • yarding to a moderate attendance of buyers, at tho following prices:—Aged ewes, lis. 4d.; fat cows, £9 to £12 13a.; vealers (light), 305.; medium, £3 Is.; heavy, to £4; 18-months steers, £6 155.; 2-year steers, £8 7s. 6d.; store cows, £5 7s. 6d.; forward-condition cows, to £8 155.; good weoner heifers, £2 10a.; 2-year heifers, r.w.
