Competition was not very Keen, and a drop in prices was recurded. Best bullocks, XVI to .1:19; extra, ,£2l; medium, £H 10s. to iUU; liest: cows and heifers, £U to ..£ls; medium, .£ll fo £12; others. .£lO upwards. Shoep— 318-1 penned-. Competition was keen for primo quality, which was firm at late rates. Medium and inferior wero in less demand, prices dropping about Is. Best wethers, 41s. to -15s,'; extra, Jfc. Gd.; medium to good, 335. to 3Gs.; best owes, 375. to 415.; extra, 455.; medium to good, 30s. to 335.; others, 255. upwards. Lambs. —11S0 penned. Competition was keen aud values firm at late rates. There was a medium yarding of pigs: l-'ats were Cleared nt prices about 10s. below- last week's rates. There was a small yarding of stores, but prices wero lower than of late, probably owing to a large extent to the high price of feed.
