Tho Wairatfapa- Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., stock department, and the Hawko's Bay Farmers' Co-operative Association Ltd.. in conjunction, report having held e, very successful sale of sheep and cattle, etc., on account of Messje. Atkinson Bros., at Newman. The sheep and cattlo caino forward in good condition, and were submitted to a very largo attendance, buyers being present from Hawke's .Bay and all the Forty-Milo Bush districts. Competition was keen throughout the Bale. Following are the quotations :—Sheep: Four and six-tooth and four-year ewes, running with Koinney rams, 385.; do., r.w. Lincoln rams, 375.; two-tooth. ewes, r.w. Homney rams, 375. 9d.; do, r.w. Lincoln ramg, 375. 3d.; five-year ewes r.w. S.D. rains, 275. Id.; light two-tooth wethers, 30s. 4d.; vr.f. woolly ewe lambs, 225. Id.; w.f. woolly wether lambs, 18s.; cull lambs, 11s. 3d.; email b.f. two-tooths, 245. 6d. Oattle: Two and a half and three and a half-year steera, '£15; two-year steers, £11 55.; eighteenmontliß steers, £10; small cows, in calf to F.A. bull, £10; mother-reared wcaners, £7; two and a half-year heifers, in calf to P.A. bull, £9 to £9 17a.: eigliteen-inonths heifers, empty, £8 165.; dairy cows, due factory dates, £12 10s., £12 155.. £13, to £13 2s. 6d.; weancr calves, £3; three-year P.A. bull, £21. Horses, implements, etc.; Eight-year mare, all work, £21; nine-year gelding, all harness, £11; gig, £17; dogcart, £17; cart, £7 10s.; set gig harness, £6.
