Von Tirpifz and other Pan-Ger-man speakers are now demanding that Great Jlriiain aud France shall pay indemnities totalling five thousand millions sterling, in addition 'to iVhicli Franco must give up some colonies nnd Great Britain must export raw materials to the Central Powers. Speaking 1 in tho Reichstag, tho Conservative leader, Count Westarp, declared that, except the Independent Socialists, tho Reichstag was unanimously ill-favour of tho continuance of unrestricted submarine warfare ,as a means of attaining peaco by makiiig England _ submissive. —Router.
